Ava Rae Kuntz
Ava Kuntz is a recent graduate of the Classical Voice Conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) and will attend the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University starting in the fall of 2021. She studies voice under the expertise of Kathleen Martin of Voice Classics Studio in Laguna Niguel and is the winner of numerous accolades and awards for her talent including being named a Grand Prize Finalist for Classical Voice in the 2021 Music Center Spotlight competition!
Ava loves the stage. In addition to her work at OCSA, she has been part of many productions at Musical Theater Academy Orange County under the direction of Jimmy Hippenstiel and Deborah Mathews. She most recently appeared as Miss Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie, June 2021.
Ava enjoys traveling, going to the theater and trying new foods. She loves people and looks forward to the time she spends volunteering with her church youth group with Hands for Houston, Sierra Service Project, feeding the homeless and serving people in need via an organization called “Sunday Supper.” She also enjoys spending time with the residents at the local Sunrise Senior Living residence and at Ronald McDonald House for National Charity League. She is a Past Honored Queen of Bethel 337, Job’s Daughter’s International.
A huge animal lover – (animals love her too!) – she adores her pitbull/boxer mix dog, Winnie, and has been known to let her on the furniture when her mom isn’t looking.
Ava aspires to a career on the stage and dreams of singing at the Salzburg Festival.
